Jurisdictional Council of Pastors and Elders (JCPE)
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Jurisdictional Council of Pastors and Elders is to insure and protect the rights and privileges of the Pastors and Elders of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of which they are a part, also to insure they understand the relationship between their role as Pastors and Elders with that of the Jurisdictional Bishop’s authority under whom they serve in the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, this includes, but not limited to, their duties, responsibilities, obligations, liability, and accountability.
FUNCTION
The function of the Jurisdictional Council of Pastors and Elders shall be two-fold, first to serve as the Trial Court for the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc., and to serve as a training institute; it shall also carry out those other duties and responsibilities delegated to it by Article V, Section B of the Constitution of the Church Of God In Christ.

Jurisdictional PrelateKentucky First Jurisdiction
Bishop John W. Fleming was appointed as Jurisdictional Prelate of Kentucky First Jurisdiction and continues to focus on ministry training, development and the growth of the Local Church, District, and Jurisdiction.
Serving alongside each Jurisdictional Bishop have been great women of God who serve in the capacity of Supervisor of the Department of Women.
Kentucky First Jurisdiction currently has thirty (30) churches within five (5) Districts in the state of Kentucky.
